                                          Prayer for the Nation 

Our Father, First we thank you for your daily mercies and grace given to us freely. You are the rock of our salvation. In you O Lord we can hide safely in thine arms. 

Father, our nation is embarking upon war. We are divided in our politics, but grant us unity in our prayers. 

We are praying for our president and leaders of our great nation and leaders across the earth. 

We pray that you grant them wisdom and knowledge to make sound and godly decisions. 

We pray for our troops that have been deployed, for their safety and well-being. 

We pray for the families and loved ones at home, that they may find peace in You in adversity.

We pray that you O God, go before us, lead us, strengthen us and cause the enemy (satan) to be defeated.

"Now unto You who is able to keep us from falling and to present us without blemish before the presence of Your glory with rejoicing, to the only God, our Saviour through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and for ever." Jude 24-25
